Documents Checklist for Luxembourg

Mandatory Requirements: Passport:
Original Passport with validity of minimum three months (from the date of return) and minimum two blank pages (Back to back) for visa stamp. Please note : 
a) So the passports issued beyond 10 years will not be acceptable in the Embassy
b) So Indian passports with any “observation” will not be accepted.
c) So attach all your old passports (if any)
d) So copy of passport (the blank pages don’t need to be copied)

Shenegen Visa Form:
One visa application form duly filled and signed on column 37 and main column 
Please note : Applicant mobile number should be mentioned in visa form as Embassy / Consulate can contact the applicant at any point of time during visa processing.

Photo Dimension:
So two recent passport size coloured photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35 mm x 45 mm)
Please note: 
a) So photograph should not be more than 3 months old and should not be used in any of the previous visas.
b) So One photo should be pasted (not stapled) on the form and the other photo to be given along with the application.

Personal Cover Letter:
Original Covering Letter from applicant on business letter head mentioning name, designation,passport number, purpose and duration of visit in brief. So the letter should be duly signed from authorised signatory with company stamp and addressed to – The Visa Officer,Embassy of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, New Delhi.
Additionally Note : So covering Letter on Letterhead if applicant is Self Employed or on plain paper if Employed .

Bank Statements:
a) So personal I.T.R for last 02 yrs
b) So original Personal Bank Statement for last three months mentioning the Bank’s name, Bank’s Telephone Number clearly with bank’s seal & signature.
Please Note: The bank statement which has to be submitted should be on A 4 size sheet. 
c) So original Letter from bank stating credit limit on your credit card.

Accommodation proof:
Hotel confirmation for the entire period of stay as per the tour itinerary. 
Please note: Hotel should match the ticket dates and maximum stay should be in Luxembourg.

Flight Reservation:
Copy of confirmed return ticket itinerary. 
Please Note: Ticket date should be with a gap of minimum 10 days from the date of submission.

Medical Insurance:
Overseas Medical Insurance for the stay duration amounting to 30,000 Euros to be submitted in original along with the photocopy.
Please Note : Insurance has to be done by the Authorised Insurance Companies. 

Proof of Employment:
Student 
a) So leave Sanction Letter from school including phone number and address of school
In case of Minor 
a) So a NOC by parents , ITR and Bank Statement
b) So if one of parents is accompanying the minor then an NOC attested by notary has be to submitted by the other parent
For First Time Traveller (Following documents apart from the above mentioned documents need to be submitted along with the application) 
Self Employed 
a) So company Registration Certificate / Certificate of Incorporation
b) Brief Company Profile 
c) So articles of Memorandum (Incase the applicant is MD/Director)
d) So proof of Proprietorship / Partnership (In case applicant is Proprietor / Partner in a firm)
e) So Import / Export License (if applicable)
Employed
a) So proof of employment like Salary Slip or Appointment Letter / NOC from Employer.

Please Note:
a) If Minors under the age of 18 if traveling alone have to provide a written consent certified by public notary of both parents or guardians having the custody of the minor. If traveling with one parent only, a written consent certified by public notary of the other parent or guardian is required.
b) Applicant has to come personally for submission as no agents are authorized to submit tourist visa applications.
c) Applicants applying from VFS centre other than Delhi have to pay additional changes of Rs. 258 for Courier Service.
