Documents checklist for Turkey visa
General Requirements:
Passport:
So original Passport with the validity of minimum six months from the date of return and minimum two blank pages for visa stamping.
Please Note: Attach all old passports (if any).
Turkey Visa Application:
- So one visa application form to be duly filled and signed by the applicant.
- Photo Specification: Additionally Two Camera clicked recent passport size photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 2.5 inch X 2.5 inch).
Please note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old, scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas.
Covering Letter:
So original Covering-Letter from applicant stating his name, designation, passport number, salary details and purpose & duration of visit along with sponsorship details. But the letter should be duly signed by the applicant with his contact details & addressed to “The Visa Officer, Embassy of the Republic of Turkey”, New Delhi.
But covering-Letter on Letterhead if applicant is Self Employed or on plain paper if Employed.
Financials:
a) Original Bank Statements for the last 6 months of both the employee and the company.
b) Proof of funds to cover the expenses of the trip.
c) Personal ITR for last three years.
Proof of Occupation:
So self Employed: Company’s Registration certificate/ Original Memorandum of article association of the Company with proprietor’s name / Copy of Import Export License attested by Notary Public.
Additionally Employed: Salary slips for last three months along with original NOC from company.
Education Certificates:
So Embassy may ask for the copy of Educational certificates of applicant.
Airline Reservation:
So confirmed return ticket.
Additionally holiday Itinerary and hotel reservation.
Insurance:
So travel insurance covering duration of stay.
But travel insurance must be valid for minimum 30 days from the date of travel.
- Please Note:
a) So an applicant is eligible for E-Visa if he is holding a visa for UK, US or Schengen valid for the entire period of stay in Turkey.
b) So Embassy may ask for any additional documents.
