Documents Checklist for Ukraine
Mandatory Requirements: Passports:
Original Passport with validity of minimum six months. And minimum two blank pages for visa stamp.Attach all your old passports (if any).
Visa Application Form: Visa application form has to fill online.
Covering-letter from the applicant on the company’s letter head stating applicant’s name, designation,passport number, purpose and duration of visit. The letter should be address to: The Visa Officer, Embassy of Ukraine, New Delhi.
Residential Documents – valid residence permits/equivalents (in cases where applicants reside in a country that is different from the country of their nationality/citizenship).
Hotel Bookings: proof that the applicant’s main purpose of journey to Ukraine is tourism (hotel/accommodation booking(s), programme of stay, information on the tour(s) and the tour(s’) time frames, tourist agency details, transfer details, sightseeing information etc.)
Additionally note that applicants might be asked for additional documents by Ukraine’s visa officers (e.g. return flight tickets and other documents confirming applicants’ circumstances (to be defined by Ukraine’s visa officers of the relevant Embassy/Consulate General)
Additionally Note : With immediate effect, Indian Nationals can get Ukraine Short term single-entry visas “C” (valid up to 15 days). With a tourism or business purposes upon arrival to Ukraine at the international airports Boryspil, Kyiv, Zhuliany, Odesa.
Below documents must be presented at the airport upon arrival, proving the tourist or business purpose:
a) So Letter of invitation from a legal entity registered in Ukraine, presented on the official letterhead.
b) So an invitation of the state , state institution, state enterprise, state organisation.
c) So documents confirming that the purpose of travel is tourism (hotel reservation. Excursion booking, travel voucher or contract for the provision of tourist services)
d) So document attesting to foreign investment activity, according to the legislation on foreign investment regime on the territory of Ukraine.
Photo Dimension: So two recent passport size photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35 mm x 45 mm)
Please note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old and should not be used in any of the previous visas.
Medical – proof that the applicant is a holder of (or is entitled to benefit from) a valid medical/travel insurance policy to cover Ukraine and the period of stay (the policy should provide a minimum of €30 000 or equivalent coverage).
Bank Statements – Proof of sufficient funds to cover the costs of stay (e.g. bank statement for 2 recent months, cash in Ukrainian hryvnia/other convertible currency, bank cards along with current/savings account balance statements provided the bank cards can be cashed in Ukraine, hotel/accommodation booking, letter from the applicant’s employer/sponsor confirming their coverage of applicant’s expenses in Ukraine, a return/transit ticket etc).
Along with the documents mentioned in Point No. 10, applicant must carry the below documents as well for Ukraine Visa on Arrival.
a) So original passport with a validity of at least 3 months after the stated date of departure from Ukraine and minimum 2 blank pages for visa stamping.
b) So complete and sign Visa Application form.
c) So one coloured passport sized photograph 35 mm X 45 mm.
d) So valid health insurance with coverage of at least 30,000 EUR or equivalent in other currency. When multi-entry visa is request, availability of health insurance valid for the first intend visit to Ukraine shall be consider.
e) So Proof of the applicant’s financial sufficiency for the intended period of stay and return to the country of origin, or transit to a third country, or the possibility to legally obtain sufficient financial means on the territory of Ukraine (at the rate of 750 USD per 15 days stay).
f) Valid return air ticket within 15 days.
